we have a big day ahead of us, but first...
morning egg check!
i feel so lucky to have nummy fresh eggs.
we fed the girls food scraps from joshua's school for breakfast. then it was time to get ready to go.
the boys and i headed up to yarnell to meet maaa..., seester and espen for the city's community center fundraiser. poppy was in kansas city, missouri, working on the apartments, joshua couldn't make it up because he had a kodaly workshop, and jeremy had to stay home and study for his lsat test. it was just us girls and the "little" boys.
good grub.
seester and son.
espen got the funny faces going around the table.
g'ma and lity. this pic cracks me up.
i asked abraham if i could take a picture with him, he copied espen:)
sweet!
the boys and i headed to the dessert station while maaa... and seester thrift shopped for a while. a had to get abe outta there because he's mister touchy feely and i didn't want him to break anything. the ladies running the stand were kind enough to let us sit in the kids section of the library even though it was closed!!! it was an unusually hot day in yarnell, but joshua said it was down right miserable in phoenix.
abe eatting melted ice cream with his fingers. he didn't even touch his cake.
levi pretty much only ate his ice cream too. i had to help him eat his frosted brownie;)
me in the super cute kid section. my new facebook profile picture.
my dessert pick was "impossible pie." it was coconut and custard. should have been named "heavenly pie."
playing with puppets from the puppet theatre. now i want to make a theatre at home for the boys.
abraham messing around.
when we were done eating, we went out to listen to the band play.
the boys danced, skipped, and ran around.
skippers. levi whistling.
i love abey asking to be watched.
i love how each one's in motion.
levi gives the day a "thumbs up."
yay. so glad we came up! next stop...st. joseph's shrine.
