to start, i've been feeling like ALLERGIES have been creeping up on me for the last couple days. woke up this morning with super itchy eyes and just fatigued. our MONEY WOES are gnawing at my heart and i'm feeling the blues coming on. then, joshua comes home from visiting gino this morning and said his CANCER has migrated into his bones! his doctor said he may not see 2011!!! !?!WHAT!?! top it off with a sad story about LEVI AND HIS LEFT ARM that audrey called to relay to me and i just plain lost it. joshua took the boys to a garage sale after he got back from an urban farm tour and i locked myself in my room and JUST BALLED. crying usually makes me feel better and i hadn't cried in ages. i pretty much just cried off and on all day. i know THIS TOO SHALL PASS, but when i'm right in the thick of it it's hard to see a positive future. i'm not embarrassed to blog about this, as i know i'm not alone. this kind of stuff happens to people all the time. you never know what other people are suffering through or when. my hope is to look back at this post in a few months and think, yep, that was just a low point on this roller coaster we call life. i also want to document these feelings/allergies for document sake. i'm thinking there is something about october/fall that has affected me this way a couple years in a row. not sure, i'd have to double check my calendars/meds, but it's weird and i'll see if it happens next year too.
joshua got the camera to take a picture of levi and a contraption he made outside and then for some reason took this pic of me just before he showed me levi's picture. it definitely captures my rough day perfectly.
levi figured out a way to jack up his gator.
abraham reading me a book.
he's really telling me about what he sees on the pages. this is the bible. he's fascinated with facial expressions and asking, for example, "why is he mad?"
***here are some videos of abraham "telling" me all about "I KNOW AN OLD LADY WHO SWALLOWED A FLY." (5 video clips)***

abraham gave these to me.
