tonight we hung out by the fire. SHOCKER i know;)

i asked levi to take a pic with me. this is what i got. he is SO is FATHER!

after much begging and a few more tongue out pics, which is all he does these days, he finally SMILED:) i think he does it to be funny. he knows everybody loves when abe does his "grumpy face" and i think he is trying to cash in on the attention. i've tried to explain to him that we laugh at abe because he is only two, but that his isn't so funny, at least i don't think so, because he is way older. as of now, i'm not gonna care so much and just let him do his thing.

levi kept asking me to guess what he was. after 10 tries i gave up...

...he even came closer, like it would help me. wanna guess? he's a GRANDFATHER CLOCK. hahaha.

friday, june 2, 2010. the boys got to have some fun with sparklers. papa bought them when he went shopping with mic in champagne. we went on a boat ride in the evening and it was so chilly we decided we could have a fire!!! one of papa's favorite things. we roasted marshmellows too. joey was home when we got back from our ride. we'll get to visit with him all weekend. yay!

day 5

wednesday, june 30, 2010. joshua went to the farm to weld and didn't get back until 3:45. the boys and i woke up at 9:00 and he was already gone. that, for me, was kind of a bummer because guess who got to watch the kids? i just get overwhelmed in new environments. so much trouble for the little ones to get into around here. (ie. the lake, stairs, etc.) i felt i had to always be watching them. luckily, mic helped watch them too, so i could have some alone time now and then. not sure why i thought a vacation with kiddos would also include hours of being able to read or soak up the sun in peace and quite. ha. that's more of a vacation without kid, huh? but i'm happy the boys are having quite an exciting time here. so much to do and see!
