the End of our Espen Era. aka, "i'm gonna miss my cousin."

today was a day of mixed emotions. the boys and i are in for a HUGE ADJUSTMENT. our time watching espen in our home, with maaa...'s help, has come to an end. for this i am SAD. however, he is starting PRESCHOOL on monday! he's gonna be a little "buffalo." for this i'm actually really EXCITED. i think he'll totally thrive on getting to make new friends, crafting, and playing with all kinds of new toys. we've had a wonderful OPPORTUNITY getting to watch espen grow up. i love that he got to build relationships with his cousins, grandma and, me, his auntie. after g'ma and espen left to go get lunch, i explained to levi that that was the last time we'd be watching espen. i told him about preschool, that it's everyday and such. levi got a super sad face and said, "but i'm going to miss my cousin." i explained that we can still see him. it just wont be as often. we can have play dates with him now. that seemed to cheer him up! we sure are gonna MISS him around here!!!

the bestest g'ma in the world!!! she's devoted so much of herself to these boys. i think it's gonna be really hard for her for a while, as well.
luckily, g'ma will still come down to visit me and boys every so often!
