mama's still sick, droid x

i'm still feeling SUPER SICKLY and so thankful the boys are at the blocks. i totally PLAYED ON MY PHONE all day. it's  so addicting. i did play with it while lying in bed, so i guess technically i was "RESTING", just not "sleeping" like i had intended.

apparently the camera was set on some wide angle setting. the pictures are super long. i am pretty happy with the quality of the pictures and am excited about all the settings and features!

*in the evening the blocks called and asked if the boys could stay ONE MORE NIGHT. g'pa block had set up a tarp type TENT and the boys wanted to sleep in it. i was more than ok with them staying an extra night considering i felt like crud. joshua and i ended up just watching THE READER.

mama's sickly, but i have my DROID X to cheer me up.

i had a rough night sleep. nose kept switching from stuffy to runny, then back again. kept waking up with super dry mouth and sore throat...ugh, haven't been sick in so long. long for me being about 2 months. however, that's way better than the every other week with never feeling quite well in between in my life pre vitamins. dancing tonight is definitely out. i don't feel up to it. luckily, audrey still wants to watch the boys!!! even after i told her levi was a little clingy and kept wanting to lay on the sofa yesterday and that when abraham woke up today and would laugh, he sounded croupy, but both were acting totally fine this morning. she even let me bring them over early so i could get to resting sooner. i dropped them off at 4:00.

maaa...called this morning and said she had been tracking the phone i ordered last thursday. she said it showed up as being delivered to the store yesterday at 11:00 am. the store didn't call me, so i called them and sure enough it was in. i was just thinking yesterday that i couldn't believe i still had to wait a whole nother week. it wasn't due in until 9-17! so glad it came in early. so, instead of resting, i ended up playing with my new DROID X for hours!!! i uploaded a bunch of apps and feel i absolutely made the right choice this time. it has a huge screen and since i use my phone more to surf the net than talk, it's perfect!!!

when my htc touch diamond died a few months ago, i really wanted to replace it with the htc incredible. it had just come out and was out of stock everywhere. i really needed a phone pronto. maaa and seester loved their motorola droids and suggested i at least check it out. i did, but took it back right before the one month trial period expired. i didn't find it intuitive the way i did my htc with sense. i loved the apps and navigation, etc, but disliked how it felt in my hand and had no speed dial, etc. anyway, i ended up using my seesters old phone while i waited for the incredible to become available. my seesters phone wasn't holding a charge well, so i started my search into the incredible again. then all i kept reading about was the droid x and droid 2. i fell in love with the droid x when i went in to the verizon store to compare all three phones side by side. so, despite feeling sickly, my new phone cheered me up quite a bit.
