thom and esther visist yarnell.

saturday, september 4, 2010.
thom and esther decided to take a little road trip and drove to prescott this morning. maaa...and i went to wickenburg to do my "whites" laundry (can't do them at home because the laundry water drains into the fruit trees, not the sewer). joshua, poppy and the boys went to wittmann for a yard sale, looking for hitches, but no luck there. they ended up buying one at harbor freight instead.
joshua and the boys picked me up in wickenburg and we headed back to the cabin. joshua wanted to get a picture of pat bernard's firepits first.
the boys caught two lizards that were trapped in the old wash tub. we made them a new habitat. then levi decided he wanted to put them in a smaller container. one escaped the new container because there was too much sand. the other guy is still in the bucket (above).
...but not for long. levi ended up loosing this one too. oops!

yay! thom and esther joined us for a ride around the streets of yarnell.
abraham telling g'ma he was gonna tickle her armpits. he did it a few times. it was hilar!!!

crazy bugs congregating on the porch roof. yikes!!!
joshua fixed up a couple bulk trash bikes.

getting ready to play cards...
...but first we must drink.
joshua and i being such a bad host and hostess. we had to get our ninernet fixes first. this is, however,  proof that it's not always me. joshua is just as addicted. ha!
grammy watching shrek with kiddos.
esther and i.
we played crazy 13's. christine and jeremy taught ma and i how to play this game last christmas. joshua had never played before. this is his winning hand. beginners luck?
the boys pointed out this leaf bug during the game. i had to get a picture of course.
thom won! i lost BIG time.
then i took a million pictures of the bugs just outside the window.
the most freaky was the scorpion eating a moth. bugs kept landing next to him, so he eventually took his food over the ledge, out of the light. we called levi over to see it. i told him if he ever sees this bug, he's not to touch it!!!
me and the window full of bugs.
