joshua leaving for spokane, washington.

wednesday, november 3, 2010.
dropping joshua off at sky harbor airport.

joshua took the incredible opportunity of attending the orff national conference this year, which was held in spokane washington. he is the "president elect" of the AOSA (arizona orff schulwerk assosiation) which pays for the president to attend the conference and their airfare to get there, but this years president passed the money along to joshua because her "private" school was paying for her to go. then the madison school district was kind enough to pay for his hotel. so, the only thing he had to pay for was food! SWEET!!!

meanwhile, the boys and i continued our life as usual...
you can never have too much ear protection;)
or too much dancing:)
hippity hopping.
so gonna be folk dancers like their parents!

creepy crawly, joshua's welding, and more yukon rides.

monday, august 2, 2010.
this big guys was creeping really slowly through the cabin. luckily joshua was there to capture him. he let him go outside though!!! hope he doesn't find his way back into the house. he looked prehistoric.

joshua grinding down a weld. he's making a contraption that hooks onto the side of my pops trailer to display redwood he has for sale.
no flash. sparks flying.
the boys wearing ear protection so they can watch.
watching.
i love how ear protection pushes abraham's chubby check together!
yukon dashboard. star setting. this is the feature i wish i discovered when we were playing with sparklers in illinois. i wanted to try a "picasso's bull" type photo. or see if we could spell our names. oh well, now i know for next year!
yukon passengers.
yukon drivers. we saw deer grazing in a field, but it was too dark to get a picture:(

nothing new, still sick:(

thursday, june 17, 2010. just trying to take it easy. this whole being sick thing sucks! i've got it pretty bad now too. super soar throat. eyes pale pink. the kids keep playing like it doesn't bother them. it only looks bad in the morning when i have to spend 10 minutes per kid with a warm wash cloth trying to pry their eyes back open. we also had to cancel our trip with the duff's to their cabin. so bummed, but definitely don't think this is clearing up any time soon:(
when levi wakes up and his eyes are stuck together he freaks out...
abe, however still wakes up smiling. he is such a morning person, like his papa.
abe's really into stickers. he tells me what color frog or lizard he's putting on me. he's gettin real good with colors.
abe was asleep on the couch. levi told me to get the camera. he got on the couch and gave abe a hug!
watching papa do boy stuff.
fillin' tires.

just hanging out

tuesday, may 25, 2010 was just a LAZY day. we LOVE having papa home! today levi said "it's a good thing papa has time off because he loves to weld". i said, "you're right!" we are hoping that others will enjoy joshua's WELDING projects as well. the idea is to start selling them!!! here are some pics of the day.
abe stuffing his shirt. he used to do this all the time with his drink. or he'd stuff a toy under his shirt and walk around saying he has a beebee. his pocket has a wood tree in it. he was just walking around saying, "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ABEY".
levi doing crunches. just like papa!
levi took joshua's recorder hoop and put it around the cow to walk it.
ear protection. papa's putting up the crosses.
levi's chalk tracing
levi wanted abe's tracing to hold hands with his.
the boys watching papa work.
we replaced the 15 spike crosses with the larger 25 SPIKE CROSSES.
out for a drive in the...
...the gator train combo.
cutie pies.
levi got this whole contraption down the porch. i asked him how. he did it in pieces. backed the train up 1st. then backed the gator up to it and hooked them back together.
i'm not sure why levi wanted the gator train on the porch, but i'm SO IMPRESSED with how he did it!
boys
mr. handsome.
FORT with a window
the fort had to keep being reconstructed. not much room to move around in there, but it was good for a few pics.
levi and his new talent...WHISTLING!
