 seriously!!! levi's front teeth met with abraham's head last night while they were playing with the neighbor kiddos. abe's forhead has a huge welt, as well. it made me so ill, i had to leave our own shindig and turn in for the night. and, as i write this, weeks later, i can say honestly it was a forethought in my mind for weeks after. i can't hack blood, trama, injury. all i kept thinking is he's gonna bonk it again and it will pop out. but you gotta love carmi's question to my concern. "so what's the worst that can happen? it might fall out early?" exactly, i don't want it to fall out early!!! i have wacky tooth/gum dreams sometimes, so when it does start to happen, hopefully naturally, in a couple years, i'm gonna have to hand it over to pops!

 yikes. it ended up turning more bruise and grey as the days went on!!! so not okay on mama's weak stomach.

...these kiddos ain't snoring. it's time for rainy day schedule.

it's always hard during piano lessons to try and keep the boys inside. at least when it's 110 degrees outside, they can run around for 10 minutes and come inside to cool off, but keeping them cooped up in a room for 2 hours is tricky. i didn't want to drive anywhere because it was completely crazy outside!

so, at levi's request we put together this super cool puzzle abby gave them. it's two sided. on this side you can use removable static cling stickers. the other side is black and white and can be colored on. here it is all put together with some of the clings already stuck down.

levi added a 3D effect to it by driving his jeep and semi on the road.

the boys were kind enough to let me mess around and take tons of pictures of them using the vignette app on my phone. unfortunately, i only have the demo version which is like less than a mega pixel. i'd have to pay for an upgrade to get way better quality. still fun though.

seriously!?!, our washing machine is broken now? yep, noticed sunday that it left black dots on every bit of fabric that was touching the drum. i ran a bleach rinse through it today and black fowl water came out that i had to trap in buckets so it wouldn't get in our tree's soil. then i ran that same wash through again and it wouldn't spin out. we tried turning it to manually do an extra rinse cycle and had no luck. it is shot. i guess the cliche is true...when it rains it pours. which, for us, translates into, if your computer catches an expensive virus, then your car air conditioner and washing machine will both stop working too!!! harumpf. but, literally, we got some real rain today too...and that helped put a smile on my face, even if it didn't last long.
