wow... no pics. makes for an easy blogging day.
joshua and i dropped my car off at camelback garage last night. joshua got the call right as he was leaving for work this morning that it would be about $800.00, before taxes. he asked me if that was ok, and being half asleep, i agreed. when i fully awoke, i started to panic. i called the guy back and asked if they could hold off. i wanted to call around and get other estimates. i went threw my honda folder and found an estimate for even more money from a different mechanic my dad took it to last year, so i called the guy back and said he could go for it. thankfully, since it's still in the 100's and showing no signs of cooling down, my car was done by the end of the day. i'm hoping this whole being beat down financially only comes in threes, kinda like celebrity deaths. if that were the case, our three hits would be up. then we shouldn't have to worry about anything else breaking for a while;) considering i've had my car for 12 years, and got her when she was 4 years old, she's been a trooper. especially, considering we do no routine maintenance. i often find myself giving her a pat on the dash and thanking God for her and her reliability as i'm driving.
