this morning the chickens had a huge fight over the biggest fricken caterpillar/grub thing i have ever seen! it was lime green, fat, and was at least six inches long, sort of like a cigar. it was a pretty exciting event to watch. unfortunately, my camera was still in the house:(
only abe would wrap himself up in packing tape...
luckily, it came from a witch poster from halloween that we removed from the carport wall, otherwise it would have been so tacky we would've had to cut it out of his hair.
i told him he should go look at himself in the mirror, so off he went.
he came back all hippity hoppitying.
he thought it was pretty cool.
and danced around some more.

i didn't have colored icing to write with and we forgot to stop on the way home. so, i had to use some old brown icing. then i dusted it with powdered sugar thinking it would make the letters stand out, but i over did it. oh vell.
