the blocks and the boys had front row seats.
god bless america.
your a grand old flag.
tons of quartet type "solos". check out abe at the piano bench!
abe hung out at the piano a lot. i, of course, was nervous, but he never touched the keys:)
abe chillin' on the floor having a snack...so gross, i know.
more kiddos on risers.
hands held high.
all done.
poor sweaty joshua.
getting acknowledged for another amazing performance!
future musicians?
papa and abey.
abey stole papas hat.
where did abey go?
two hats.
fun on the risers.
hey, i want a hat!
as usual, the boys ran around on stage after all the kids exited.
levi's a natural performer.
the boys take the stage.
abe found the microphones were still on.
singing...
"AMERICA!" (repeat)
a little dramatic;)
seriously belting out "AMERICA" over and over.
there are 3 other videos similar to this. they boys just moving around the stage, up and down the risers, and to and from the stage to the ground floor, just singing the same thing over and over. it was hilarious.
my fav.
levi singing.
decorations.
when the performances are over, we always go back to joshua's music room and mess around.
levi chasing hula hoops that g'pa tosses to him.
 nice catch levi!
 just a blur.
 sweet face.
 mid catch.
 then he tosses back.
meanwhile, abraham collects all the mallets from the glockenspiels and bangs around on all the instruments.
 abey
lity bop.
then, as is our tradition, it was off to spinatos.

joshua's 4th grage program

thursday, may 13, 2010. joshua did it again. another "HOW DOES HE GET ALL THE KIDS TO DO THAT?" concert. the kids were really into all the dancing, singing, and playing instruments hitting their marks with smiles on their faces. you could tell they were having a great time. the parents in the audience had huge smiles on their faces as well. the decorations were nothing less than spectacular, as always, thanks to the help of super creative simis parents. When the program is over, as is OUR TRADITION, the kids get to play in the MUSIC ROOM. banging on the instruments and playing with grandma and grandpa block who always come to the programs to support their son. tonight, the block's took both boys to stay the night at their house! joshua and i always eat at SPINATOS after his programs, which we've been doing for years. sometimes we take the boys to the restaurant, sometimes we order take out. for quite some time on now, levi stays the night at the block's, and they bring him home on friday nights. They have now offered to start watching abe every other thursday to friday as well. so, tonight we ORDERED OUT and took it home and watched a movie ALONE. ahhhh...PEACE and QUITE. this was joshua's last concert of the school year and his last time working with the 4th graders. they move on to meadows next year.
seriously, the decorations are incredible
