friday, july 16, 2010. today was a full day of fun and various family. we woke up to a full house of kiddos. even laken spent the night. we didn't know she had come over the night before because joshua and i had DATE NIGHT:))) this is how the day played out:

after breakfast we all went on a boat ride. our boys were wearing their life jackets, so jack grabbed his and tried to put it on.

while we were on the boat all the kiddos kept saying they were hungry and thirsty. when we got back lizzie and micky went to the shop. joshua made the kiddos, ralphy and i a feast of fried eggs and black beans in enchilada sauce. yum!

then it was upstairs to watch the "velveteen rabbit."

g'ma erm came over for lunch and found everyone upstairs.

i was shocked. levi wanted to try some apple pie. unfortunately, he didn't like it. he LOVES ice cream though.

this was super funny. first of all, abe wanted to snack so papa got him some pringles to share with the rest of us on the dock. they were devoured in no time. so abe went back in the house and told papa, "peoples need more chips." so papa gave him another can. those too were finished quickly. we were left with two empty cans. this is what abe did with them.

he actually managed to take several step in them by holding onto the table and chair. then he took them off, but immediately put them back on again!!!

we were just cracking up. crazy kiddo. that had to hurt!
