thursday, july 29, 2010. after maaa... and levi went down to watch espen yesterday, he came back with them to wickenburg. the kiddos chose to stay the night there, so maaa... brought them to yarnell this morning.

seriously? LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER. when maaa... brought the boys over this morning and i noticed she and i had the same exact pants on and we both chose to wear a turquoise shirt. too crazy. she's so cute!!!

abraham hadn't seen espen in over a month. i wasn't sure how they were all going to get along after not seeing each other so long, but they did ok. the bigger boys kind of ignored abey a bit, but when levi was off doing his own thing, which doesn't happen very often, espen and abe would toot around together.

then for some reason abraham started covering his ears and levi had his hand near his mouth...

wednesday, july 28, 2010. LEVI STAYED THE NIGHT at g'pa and g'ma battaglia's house last night and was going with maaa... bright and early this morning to go see espen in scottsdale. the weather is so much nicer here in yarnell, usually 17 DEGREES COOLER THAN PHOENIX, we decided to try and spend more time outside. we took abraham to yarnell's little PARK.

it started pouring so we tried to wait it out under a ramada.

didn't seem like it was gonna stop raining any time soon, so we booked it to the car. we all got SOAKED!

we stripped abe when we got back. then we watched MOVIES. abe watched nemo. papa and i watched CADILLAC RECORDS.

after the movies were over we decided to head back outside. as we were getting ready, papa and abraham were messing around on the futon downstairs. abraham lost his balance and CRASHED into it's wood arm and CUT HIS EYELID, just under his eyebrow!!!

we took him to an URGENT CARE in sun city.

the nurse gave him a lolly pop after she took his band-aid off. then the doctor came in and pulled the cut open. ugh! he said it didn't cut through three layers of skin so he didn't think stitches were necessary. apparently we'd have to go to the e.r. for that anyway because they don't sedate two year old in urgent care. he just put 2 STERI-STRIPS on it. abe was awesome and just let the doctor do his thang.

then we headed to a store to pick up diapers to drop off for levi. he and espen wanted to stay in wickenburg instead of come up to yarnell. when we got home abraham watched the jungle book and joshua and i watched DEFIANCE.
