friday, june 4, 2010. joshua weighed the boys this evening. levi weighs 34 lbs. abe weighs 30 lbs. really? only 4 lbs apart? not sure how accurate, considering they are just getting their appetites back after their recent illnesses. just wanted to jot it down anyway.
still sickly, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the kiddos.
wednesday, june 2 and friday, june 4, 2010. while abe was getting better, it was LEVI'S turn to start PUKING! then the next night it was papa's. Somehow, i'm the only one who never threw up. though my stomach let me know it was unhappy in another way. (TMI i know, but it's my journal:) despite hating being sick, i loved having the four of us together in close quarters. just cuddling and napping to feel better.

wednesday, june 2, 2010. one good thing to come of everyone being sick is that i got a lot of READING done. book club is on hold until august because of summer vacations. so, my non book club book is THE SHACK. a friend gave it to us to garage sale a while back and i ended up keeping it. i thought it would be a few years before i'd tackle it, but now that i like to read, i'm finding time for it. it's another page turner. i was hooked right from the start. i'm a little more than half way done. will post when i am finished.

tuesday, june 1, 2010. i'm 35, been married 8 years, have 2 toddlers and i just started COOKING CHICKEN the past couple weeks. i know i complain a lot about joshua being a vegetarian, but the truth is, i never cooked meat even before we met. so, now i'm trying, but am uber paranoid of not cooking it well enough. if it says cook for 4 minutes on each side i do 8. i even bought an internal thermometer! tonight i used my cuisinart grill for chicken. i overcooked it a little, but it was still delish with lemon pepper seasoning and honey bbq sauce. (quite the combo. ha)
the block's are sickly, tighty whiteys (abe decided it's potty training time), forts, and moon sand.
tuesday, june 1, 2010. it all started with ABE on monday night. by tuesday am it had been a few hours since his last episode so i gave him water. bad idea. his tummy wasn't ready for it. the rest of the day, in true child style, he never seemed sick. he ran around and played with levi. at dinner he started acting unlike himself. wouldn't eat. just sat on my lap. he looked like he had hives. later that evening we were watching a movie on the couch. levi and abe were messing around. then abe ran up to me, grabbed my legs, and PUKED all over me and the couch!!! 13 hours after the last time, so it was totally unexpected! that night my tummy started to churn.
abe's 1st attempt to eat after his long night. he ate all his applesauce!

abe asked if he could wear underwear today. i originally had him in a different pair (buzz light year), but levi was so excited he wanted them to match. so, levi got out 2 pair of tighty whiteys and asked if i could put one pair on abe. abe's all about wanting to go potty in the toilet and outside by the tree in front of the garage. he tells us he has to go, rips his own diaper off, and does the deed. if he poopys he goes in his potty and calls us in to come see!

levi made a cupcake and i made a candle, levi gave it to elizabeth, one of papa's piano students.
