so this morning, the extra school computer we use to let the boys watch movies at random, like when i need to get stuff done, totally died...is this for real? i'm fine with all this old stuff breaking, as it's to be expected, but i just wish it could be a little more spread out. i always say we are broke, but that's not entirely true. we have money in saving that is, in my mind, strictly for if something should happen to joshua or his job. i wish it was big enough to include repair funds, but in this economy, with it's no teacher salary raises + higher insurance rates=no money going into savings the way it used to. someday, god willing, that time will come again. until then, i made an appointment for the sears repair man to come and fix our washing machine, and our tiny financial cushion will be that much smaller. i suppose i should be more thankful that we even have a cushion, huh? anyway, for pretty much the whole time i was on the phone with the scheduler, abraham was screaming at me about wanting to watch a movie. i had to keep asking the man to repeat himself and it seemed we were on the phone for a half hour. then he made me decide between paying a basic free or upgrading to a service plan that i could later retract upon. like i have time to make such a decision with an angry little dude kicking me in the shins. i opted for the higher priced package. as soon as i got off the phone with him i called joshua and we both decided we were undecided if it was a scam or not, but i figure i can always call and get my money refunded, minus the basic service fee. however, the machine is over 7 years old. not sure it's worth dumping any money into it really.

at first levi was a little upset, but you could still see the drawings underneath and he could still draw faintly on top.
so wendi emailed us yesterday that she, denver, and mavrick would be going to the zoo this morning. i wasn't sure we'd be able to go, thinking/hoping the repair appointment could be the same day as my call, but no such luck. so, to get abraham's mind off of no movies, i packed the boys up and we met wendi and friends. i had a gut feeling that it might not be such a great idea though because abraham was just acting like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed...and sure enough, his little attitude came with us to the zoo. at least i tried to turn the day around, right?

these two just looked like this the whole time we watched them. abe decided he wanted to go pet goats, but levi didn't want too and i had the stroller which you can't take inside. so, abraham decides to dash into the barn against my orders and when we came out, after i caught him, i couldn't find levi. he bolted out of sight. by this point both boys were being naughty and not listening to me, but i thought i'd give them one more chance. i let them play in the little people playground by where wendi and the kiddos were eating. they played a bit and then abraham told me he had to pee. as i was putting his shoes on to head to the bathroom, he apparently couldn't hold it that long and just peed his pants!!! that was it, i was done. i cleaned abe up in the potty and we headed home.
