today we popped the kiddos in the trailer and biked down to the duck and decanter for the sixth annual "certified local fall festival." there were tons of vendors dishing out samples of their goodies, but we spent most of our time in/at the bouncy:)
not this bouncy though.
this train one looked awesome and had a ton of stuff to do inside, but the boys were a little leery. you had to enter quickly or else the air would rush out and start to deflate the first room.
...so levi decided he wanted no part of it. abraham, our little daredevil, made it inside, but ended up coming back out the front instead of tooting through the whole thing.
a sample of apple and pulled pork soup with sweet bread and butter from "the parlor."
da boys.
gynormous chair.
abraham got to make a bagel bird feeder.
dunking the bagel slathered in peanut butter into a bucket of seeds.
ta da!
levi was too busy eating a sample cookie from "urban cookies" to participate.
bouncing
and bouncing
and more bouncing.
and sliding.
now you see abe...
...now you don't. levi followed close behind. it took a little while to wrangle them out of there.
making music with papa.
we got super cute reusable totes. the boys also got coloring books and crayons form one stop.
abraham sooooo happy to drink out of a bottle.
we hit the spinatos station right at the end. they were dishing out HUGE samples. we basically ate lunch/dinner with all the sample we had. so delish. super thirsty boys.
me wanting a pic with smiling boys. just wasn't happening, of course;)
proud member of the "clean plates club."
abraham mid bonk. levi's not happy:(
abraham apologizing.
had to hit a dumpster on the way to desert storm park.
levi calls it "the grass park," but...
...it's actually a retention basin.
checking out where the water flows.
pops and the boys.
the boys getting farther...
...and farther away!
frisbee time. i keep this little portable guy in our diaper bag at all times.
levi getting ready to toss it!
heads up!
close up of lity.
close up of abey.
twirling.
frisbee's way up high.
we got a call that preston had stopped by to see stacy and he wanted to see the chickens, so we biked it back home.
them we watch mr. tim chainsaw his tree and everyone pitched in and hauled the branches into joshua's truck to take them to the alley for bulk trash pick up. all the kids helped. then joshua hooked up the robert's tiny trailer to his truck and we all went alley romping...a "hay ride," minus the hay.
here we are, so fun!!!
tim, paula, mason, stay, preston, janet, me, maggie, abraham, tyler, and levi.
tim, paula, mason, stay, preston, janet, me, maggie, abraham, tyler, and levi.
levi's seating options. he dragged every chair over all by himself and lifted them up.
he wanted us to take a ride on it like this, but we explained the chairs had to be attached in some way or else we could tip.
flashlights.
i think espen may have drawn this. i think it's he cutest thing so i retraced it hoping it would last longer:)
