i cleaned all day. the house hadn't been cleaned in 6 weeks. we didn't leave it in the best condition when we left because we were so sick and had pretty much let it go to pot. so, i had my work cut out for me. tonight joshua and carson, the art teacher from his school, went to FIRST FRIDAY. joshua wanted carson to meet kenny, our "artist" friend. i didn't want to go because i thought it was just a little too warm out, plus i was pretty physically exhausted. the block's brought the boys home around 7:30. abraham had fallen asleep on the ride over. i hoped he was out for the night. when g'pa and g'ma left i had to preform minor surgery on abraham's left index finger. he had a splinter that was infected. ouch! carl had tried to get it out earlier, but it didn't work. i got it out pretty easily. basically because abey was asleep and couldn't fidget! he ended up waking up around 9:00, to my dismay, and was a big bundle of energy. levi and i had just started playing HUNGRY HUNGRY HIPPO. we only play it when abraham is asleep because abraham doesn't know how to follow the rules of the game. go figure. ha ha ah. levi really wanted to play still, so we let abey join in. levi and i did our thing and abe played his own version.
levi got this game from denver for his birthday! i remember this game from my own childhood. i loved it then, i love it now!

after the game i posted this on facebook:
the boys and i just finished like 30 rounds of hungry hungry hippo. we started out with 20 balls. when i just put the game away there were only 19. i only left the room for a second to grab my camera. should i be worried? hoping abe's putting things up nose days are gone. heehee.
*still haven't found that ball! hmmm?
